Tuning up your heat pump can help you get a rebate and save year-round

A heat pump tune-up can help you:

• Improve the efficiency and prolong the life of existing equipment.
• Ensure your unit is clean and has good air flow.

Are you eligible?

This program is open to Dominion Virginia Power residential customers living in single-family residences, townhomes, and multi-family (apartments and condos) dwellings with electric heating and cooling. Customers must be responsible for the electric bill and either own the home or be able to secure permission from the owner to perform the repairs or improvements recommended. Mobile homes are not eligible to participate at this time.

How can you participate?

• Contact us at 757-896-0655 to schedule your heat pump tune-up.
• On the day of the appointment we will inspect your heat pump and make any needed improvements.
• Upon completion of the tune-up, you will submit the rebate form to Dominion.
• You will receive a confirmation email when your rebate form has been received.
• Your rebate check will be mailed directly to you.

*Rebate amount is $90 per unit. New units in operation for less than six (6) months are not eligible to receive a rebate. Units must be in working condition prior to tune-up.
